favorite reading website

one of my most favorite reading/book websites is goodreads, which has so many functions! for example, i just set a goal to read 200 books in 2017. i can add all of the books i read and it keeps track for me! this is nice because it means i don't have to have them all written down somewhere, they are all just kept nicely on the website. you can also rate books and write reviews for others to see. there's also a section to keep track of books you want to read, which i love. click here for my profile :)

The Sun Is Also A Star by Nicola Yoon

Alright, the first book review is here!

Synopsis
The Sun Is Also A Star is a book about Natasha and Daniel, complete strangers. However, by the end of their one day in New York City, they have their own tragic love story. Natsaha, about to be deported to Jamaica, wants nothing to do with Korean-American Daniel. But he's persistent, and eventually she falls for him, too.

Important/Favorite Quotes
"I didn't know you this morning, and now I don't remember not knowing you."

"We are capable of big lives. A big history. Why settle? Why choose the practical thing, the mundane thing? We are born to dream and make the things we dream about."

"How can you trust something that can end as suddenly as it begins?"

"It's not up to you to help other people fit you into a box."

"Growing up and seeing your parents' flaws is like losing your religion. I don't believe in God anymore. I don't believe in my father either."

Reaction
I finished this book in less than 24 hours. It was that good. I honestly couldn't put it down. It's one of those books that is a love story, but is also so much more. My heart ached for the characters. I found myself relating to them both in different, complex ways. This is definitely one of my favorites.
